Our New Puppies Arrived!
Our new puppies arrived in November! They have been keeping me busy with other things that distract me so I’ll be updating on all our new adventures soon! We loved our breeder, fell in love with not one, but two sweet cocker spaniels. We brought them home the week before Thanksgiving at eight weeks old, just in time to try to figure out a puppy schedule and then jump right in to socialization during the holidays! I’ll update this page soon to tell you how we did it!
Meet my sweet babies, Goose & Maverick! Read on to find the details for getting ready for these two and get a FREEBIE!

Supplies for Our New Puppies
We ordered two of everything on this list for our new puppies and more! I highly recommend each one of these items and would order them again!
Whimzees Small Dog Treats – These treats are less expensive than Greenies and really help “brush” those teeth while giving my pups some good chewing time that lasts.
Dog Crates – These crates have a divider for the early weeks to keep them cozy while puppies are still little and then I pulled the divider once they grew and became comfortable in their crates.

Here’s my crate set up for the new puppies! Just needs the waterproof pad & puppy pen added.
Puppy Bed for Crates – This bed was warm and comfortable and kept them cozy through the winter and was also machine washable.
Original Snuggle Puppies – From the very start, my puppies slept well through the night. I’m sure they were both comfortable with having each other, but also because the Snuggle Puppies have a heartbeat device and a warmer that resembles mother’s heartbeat.
Washable Pee Pads – I used one of these on the floor in front of their crates and draped another over their crates to keep their “den” area cozy. I laid down puppy disposable pads with this on top for those early accidents.
Puppy Beds – These beds are super comfy and my puppies will nap separate or piled on top of each other. They still love them today even though they are way to big for them!
Puppy Playpen – This was a life saver when I wasn’t fully supervising the pups. I started with a small area in front of their crates and gradually increased the space as they showed they can handle having no accidents inside. I now use it to block off the whole family room when unsupervised.
The arrival of Goose and Maverick was keeping us busy with puppy schedules, training, and lots of love and cuddles! Thanks to Elite Canine Kennels for breeding our adorable new additions to our family.

Do you recognize Goose & Maverick? They were originally Milky Way & Twix! Their siblings are Snickers, Hershey, PayDay and KitKat.
