There’s no shortage of beauty products out there promising to keep me young, vibrant, and feeling great. But now that I’m over 50, I’ve learned that the best products aren’t always the newest ones ones or the ones with the latest buzzwords. The tried and true products are the ones that actually work. These are my favorites that I keep coming back to year after year.
As I approach my 50s, I’ve learned that when it comes to beauty, it’s not about trends, but about finding tried and true beauty products for over 50 that deliver real results. These are the products that consistently make a difference in my daily routine, whether it’s keeping my skin hydrated or adding a little glow.

Tawny is my go-to shade during the summer months for that perfect sun-kissed look!

When it comes to blush, I keep coming back to Estée Lauder’s Pure Envy Blush in Sensuous Rose or Pink Passion. I’ve switched blush brands a few times, but this one lasts the longest and gives my cheeks a healthy, natural flush. Plus, the compact is gorgeous and fits perfectly in my makeup bag!
6. L’Oreal Paris Voluminous Mascara & Lash Boosting Primer
For lashes that stand out (without looking fake), Estee Lauder Mascara is my holy grail. I’ve used it for years, and it never disappoints. I also really love this economical choice: L’Oreal Paris Voluminous Mascara. To enhance the effect, I pair it with the L’Oreal Paris Lash Boosting Primer for added volume and length. Together, they create beautiful lashes without the artificial look.
7. Estée Lauder Bronze Goddess Perfume
I wear Estée Lauder’s Bronze Goddess Perfume nearly every day. It’s, for sure, my signature scent. It’s the perfect fragrance that smells like summer in a bottle. The blend of warm, tropical notes makes me feel like I’m on a beach getaway, and I’m always getting compliments. People always ask, “What are you wearing?” It’s fun to say, “It’s Bronze Goddess!”
8. Buxom Lip Plumping Polish
I don’t always remember to use lipstick, but Buxom Lip Plumping Polish is a game-changer. I received it as a gift a few years ago, and it quickly became a staple in my routine. This plumping gloss gives my lips a healthy, hydrated look and a nice little tingle when I apply it. It visibly plumps my lips and adds a glossy shine. The Dolly and White Russian Sparkle shades are my top picks, but I also love Kimberly, of course, it’s my name!
