Mini Roast Beef Tarts
When planning a beautiful Mother’s Day tea party, I always like to balance the menu with a few savory bites to complement the sweets. These Mini Beef Tarts have quickly become one of my favorite additions. They’re simple to prepare, elegant on the table, and always one of the first things to disappear.
They’re buttery, perfectly portioned, and filled with a rich, savory beef mixture that feels just a little bit special, exactly what a Mother’s Day gathering should be. Whether you’re hosting a full afternoon tea or a casual spring brunch, these little tarts add that “something extra” your guests will remember.

- Preheat oven to 375°F. Remove tart shells from freezer and place onto a parchment-lined baking sheet. Place a small mound of roast beef into each cup.
- Melt butter in a medium size skillet over medium-high heat. Then add the shallots and mushrooms. Add thyme, salt and pepper to taste and sauté until browned. Remove from heat and spoon mushrooms over roast beef. Add a tiny dollop of horseradish over each tart.
