Irish Guinness Beef Stew Recipe for St. Patrick’s Day
March has a way of inviting us to the table, to linger a little longer, to celebrate with friends, and to welcome a touch of Irish charm into our kitchens. This Guinness Beef Stew was inspired by a cozy evening at our favorite local Irish pub, where the stew is served piping hot, rich with stout, and hearty enough to make you forget the chill outside. One spoonful and I knew I’d be recreating it at home.
There’s something special about a dish rooted in tradition and shared in good company. This version brings that same pub-style comfort to your own stove . . . tender beef, root vegetables, and a deep, savory broth that simmers low and slow. It’s my small thank-you to the friendly folks who ladle it up with a smile, and an invitation for you to do the same in your own kitchen this St. Patrick’s Day.
