Welcome to Living My Second Act! I’m Kim and am an experienced kindergarten and first grade teacher. I have also become an empty nester and most recently RETIRED! However, I am not retired from my passions of life! I now have more time on my hands. That means I can combine my old love of writing with my experience as a mother and teacher of young children.
Of course, I’m a well-rounded girl so I dabble in many different interests. I love to travel, cook, entertain, . . . anything that’s fun for the over 50 crowd! My goal is to pass on a bit of wisdom I’ve acquired over the years and share some of my expertise to families and teachers.
My children have both graduated college and moved away so I have a few thoughts about a family with older kiddos, too. Since summer is here, I’m hanging out with my hubby, organizing and getting my new retired life on track for lots of possibilites.
